About The Program

The Willard G. Plentl Sr. Aviation Scholarship is provided by the Virginia Department of Aviation for high school seniors in Virginia who aspire to pursue a career in aviation outside of engineering. Applicants must present proof of acceptance into a relevant postsecondary program and maintain a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.5. This scholarship is renewable and awarded annually.
